ONE’ is the Peace Day anthem, bringing artists from across the African continent together for peace and unity. Produced by Coke Studio in Nairobi it features Zwai Bala (South Africa), Ice Prince (Nigeria), Dama Do Bling (Mozambique), Maurice Kirya(Uganda), Alikiba (Tanzania) and Wangechi (Kenya). Premiering on Peace Day in Kigali, it can be PRE-ORDERED below. This anthem is supporting Peace One Day to raise awareness of Peace Day, 21 September in the Great Lakes region of Africa and across the world.

Young people from both Rwanda and the Great Lakes region will share their inspirational personal experiences of peace within the key themes of humanitarian activity, education, faith and sport.

Collaborations from local dance groups, Jabba Junior and Krest Crew will highlight the possibilities that can come from working together.

High-profile regional acts including Innoss’B, Knowless, Urban Boyz and the African Children’s Choir will come together to demonstrate how music has the power to transcend differences and bring people together in the name of peace.

Young people will start the celebration by walking together through Kigali in a show of unity and support for Peace Day, 21 September.

This will be a moment of unity as young people from the region stand together to fly all the flags of Africa.peace day

Peace One Day will show short films throughout the day to raise awareness of Peace Day and showcase the activities taking place across the region and the world.

The Peace One Day Celebration will host inspirational speakers and video statements from across the Great Lakes region of Africa, as well as influential international speakers.
